This was something every fuel tank should have on them from factory. Unfortunately, sometimes scratches occur and this makes a real mess of a beautiful tank. This was exactly what happened to this 2014 Ninja ZX10R that came in for a spruce up. I just thought it best bet for now to get a new tank pad which will cover the scratches and then also add protection for any future scuffs. The correct tank pad was not hard to find, I just filtered the manufacturer and then model of bike and there were a couple to choose from. I decided on the genuine Kawasaki one as it will fit as it should do with it being made for this bike. The cost was not too bad actually and better than I had seen for sale locally. With a couple of other items in my basket, I had them all shipped together via EMS. My order arrived 5 days after the being shipped which is perfect. The entire order was neatly packed in the box, the tank pad were all kept nice and flat so there was no distortion which could have been a problem when fitting. The tank pad came in a Kawasaki packet and was neatly presented. The pad itself feels very nice and smooth but does have a bit of friction due to the materials used. I was expecting a slightly more domed gel pad but for what it is, it's fine for my needs. Fitting was straight forward and when on without issue.
