About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the rear shock absorber from Ohins, only the best materials used and surface finishes obtained as you would expect for the price. Almost exclusively made from aluminium to keep the weight down and anodised for durability. About the feeling of use: The look of this rear shock absorber fitted to the Grom is sensational and the feel from the rear end while riding is like a completely different motorcycle now, with the ability to adjust pre-load, rebound and compression the adjustments are endless. Products to buy together: The Ohlins fork insert kit would also be desirable to purchase along side their rear shock absorber but sadly is not currently available here on Webike so would need to be purchased elsewhere. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, only 2 bolts holding it in place, I removed the rear hugger, seat and rear plastics then supported the rear of the motorcyce with an A frame and strap. A little difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: An extremely expensive option for a rear shock absorber for the Grom but if you have the money to spare you will not be disappointed. Any aftermarket rear shock absorber will be better then the Honda one and the options available from YSS should be looked at if your budget is limited. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Specifically designed for the JC61 model Honda Grom so the fit and operations is perfect.
The Ohlins S36PR1C1 will not fit Australian Model GROM's. The fine print says "New model after June 2016 can not be used". The S36PR1C1 is very well made and finished. All the adjustments have a quality feel to them. At $900 (AUD) landed it's a very expensive lesson/research. It looks like it will fit, some GROM parts people say it will fit but it will not fit the way it was intended to fit. I'm running my S36PR1C1 in an inverted position in my Australian 2016 GROM and it just fits. The compression adjuster just binds on the rear wheel huger and the upper (under seat) plastic mudguard just binds on the gas reservoir at full travel. I have noted the Mileage and Date and will notify this page if/when and the reason I think the S36PR1C1 fails if used in an inverted position. View Detail
I installed the OHLINS, which are more flexible than the OEM suspension, and I really enjoy winding. I think the pain in my buttocks may have been reduced. The price is expensive, but I think it is worth it.View Detail
I put the OHLINS into the JC61 Grom, which I had been longing for before the tax increase Also, the delivery date was initially a 3 month wait, but it arrived in 10 days In the description section New models cannot be used after June 2016 It was stated that it is possible to install it in JC61 Grom, but... Reserver The pressure side damping adjustment adjuster at the top of the tank is FenderLimit, which means that when the suspension moves, you can adjust the damping by clicking on it It may interfere a little, but this is one of the fun things to do, I'll save the interference measures for the future The installation of the JC61 Grom is a matter of personal judgment This purchase and installation is just for my own reference because I have purchased and installed it with my own satisfaction
OHLINS Settings for one passenger (65-70kg) It is designed and set based on the spring rate of 80N/mm To Spring, adjusted with a 7mm pre-ROD initial load, but it works surprisingly well It is in the Suspension setting I have used SP Mukawa Rear shock until now, but it is more comfortable than Rear shock of Mukawa It's soft and comfortable to ride, and the OHLINS damping adjustment makes the ride more comfortable Isn't it! Also, the OHLINS settings are set based on one person riding, so you can use two people If it's a ride, I think it's going to BumpTouch and break down; if it's a two-seater, it's going to be a two-seater Setting is recommended
There are a lot of external suspensions available in Grom At first, I used SP Takekawa suspension which is cheaper in terms of cost, but I wanted it for a long time I took the plunge and bought OHLINS before the tax hike, and after replacing the SP Takekawa suspension, I took it for a test drive It works well with a high evaluation as per the comment of Mr. User who installed OHLINS on the Grom It was OHLINS Suspension that didn't make my butt hurt after a long ride in the sass OHLINS purchased at Webike is a matter of course This is an authorized Carrozzeria Japan product and is a Carrozzeria Japan shelf It comes in a ball and has a translation (please enter here), instruction manual and warranty And you can buy it! This time the gold amount was slightly lower, and there was also a point reduction, so it was a good I hope you were able to shop around - Lucky!View Detail

Honestly was expecting more from it, took it to a suspension shop to tune to my spec, is it worth 1400 Aud, approximately 300 Aud FeDex and about 300 Aud custom clearance? Maybe. Looks nice, I had a couple of good Ohlins shocks on my track bikes which offered more adjustment and when acceleration it is night and day difference, but the category of this bike is still a more naked/sport touring bike, maybe my mindset is wrong, rode about 200kms now, I have done: heavy, sharp, smooth acceleration, top speed, low speed, stoppies, some twisties, did not meet my performance level exception, but again, maybe Ohlins intentionally wants more comfort rather than performance? Great looking tho, texture and everything up to Ohlins standard, this is just a short term review, who knows, maybe the setting for currently is all wrong, might have to tune it again. Will write a long term experience later but currently that's how I feel.View Detail
The best investment ever for my bike. It really transformed it. Perfect fit. It includes everything you need for a proper installation. Adjustment is required to your weight and riding style.View Detail
This was a upgrade from a GO Race tuned rear shock. Granted the go race most likely needed to be serviced, but this was big improvment. I can't say it's worth the money unless you just want to spend some money...but nice if you do. View Detail
View Detail
Compared to the oem, the standard set-up standard feels stronger overall, which offsets the vibration very well when it crosses the bump and bump. Thanks to you, my hips and waist became comfortable. I want to run after changing to off-road setting! The disadvantage is that the front suspension feels too soft and weak;View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the stainless steel header pipe and satin stainless steel muffler which is finished with a unique carbon fibre end cap. About the feeling of use: Super lightweight compared to the Honda exhaust which results in a good weight saving. This muffler design is on a larger proportion for the Grom but it manages to create a big bike sound from the little 125cc motor. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, I will be going with an open air intake from Kitaco. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a well designed and manufactured product using quality materials that will help increase performance but there are also other options for much less cost, so browse Webike available exhausts if you have a lower exhaust budget. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: A JMCA approved exhaust so it is suited for everyone that needs an exhaust to my legal specifications.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the pulley holder from Kitaco made from a steel construction with a PVC coating over the band to help improve it's hold.About the feeling of use: I have used this tool to hold the clutch and flywheel on my Honda Grom when removal of these parts were required for maintenance with great success. The adjustable band makes this tool very versatile for varies sized motorcycle parts.Products to buy together: Some more tooling like a center lock nut wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the pulley holder so when it comes time to remove the clutch assembly and oil spinner on your Honda Grom you have all the special tooling required to complete the job.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes a few minutes, place the pulley holder around the part that needs to be held and adjust the band if required. Tighten down the T handle so that the band holder does not allow the part to spin as you undo the fastener securing the part. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as this is a quality made band holder from Kitaco that has with stood numerous usage without failure as compared to the first band hold that I purchased from another site that failed soon after.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: These band holder are limited to the sized parts they can hold. No smaller the 6cm in diameter and no larger then 12cm in diameter.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the stainless steel header pipe and polished stainless steel muffler which is finished with a unique designed end cap. About the feeling of use: Super lightweight compared to the Honda exhaust which results in a good weight saving. This exhaust system design and proportions are well suited to the Grom and it manages to generate an enjoyable exhaust note from the little 125cc motor. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, I chose to go with an open air intake from Chimera. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended and modification to the rearset is needed for the third generation Grom. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a well designed and manufactured product using quality materials that will help increase performance but there are also other options for much less cost, so browse Webike available exhausts if you have a lower exhaust budget. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the titanium exhaust from Over Racing. The muffler is quite compact with a removable baffle inside and made from titanium, while the exhaust piping is very large in diameter at the exhaust port end and just continues to expand all the way up to the muffler connection and is also made from titanium. About the feeling of use: The titanium exhaust is an aggressive looking exhaust on the Grom but the exhaust note is very enjoyable to hear at idle and through the entire RPM range due to the baffling within the short muffler. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase alongside this titanium exhaust to help achieve maximum performance. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about one hour, I was removing an aftermarket exhaust which was very simple as it was just the two nuts at the front and one bolt at the back but the exhaust port gasket was very difficult to remove. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting a full titanium exhaust system with features to help obtain high performance at a high price as compared to the much cheaper stainless steel version available from Over Racing. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Zero concerns or cautions on this product and the advice is to purchase if you have the money. View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the sports camshaft from SP Takegawa, wonderful machining throughout and great quality bearings fitted. About the feeling of use: I was looking for a camshaft to make the 125cc engine higher revving which it has and I'm really happy with how it performs on the open road with no real loss of power in the lower RPMs which is ideal for around town. Products to buy together: Some type of fuel controller is needed to be purchase along side the sports camshaft, the SP Takegawa FICON 2 is well suited to this type of performance modification. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour, was an easy job to complete after reading through the Honda service manual directions. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing, the cheapest high RPM camshaft available here on Webike is the Endurance hi-power camshaft but does not look to have a power curve anywhere near as good. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Webike has many camshaft to choose from and the choice is difficult, much research is required to get as close as possible to your desired performance outcome.View Detail
