Right side cover for the low mount exhaust on my Monkey 125
About quality and texture - The right side cover set from Yoshimura is made from 100% ABS with a yellow gloss paint and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - This right side cover set is a nice step up from just purchasing the cheap steel plate right side cover for the low mount exhaust on my Monkey 125. Purely a cosmetic addition for filling the space left from removing the original high mount exhaust. Products to buy together - The Honda Monkey 125 has no billet aluminum parts fitted from the factory, so the purchasing of other high quality parts like the right side cover set from Yoshimura would be perfect. More billet aluminum to replace the factory parts is what I would recommend.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the right side cover set is a simple task that took 0.5 hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the side cover.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Yoshimura sell to be higher then what most other companies sell their products for and the right side cover set is no different, but this is due to the high quality materials used and the consistent high quality finish of their products.About shipping and packaging - With there being minimal cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the right side cover set, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. I had been looking to spruce up this Monkey when it came in with a genuine Honda Monkey emblem on the left panel of the bike. Yes, I could get them printed at a local store but why do that when you can get hold of the genuine Honda ones as cheap as this. Not a hard part to find once you know the size you need and a rough model of bike that this is for. This was the side panel emblem which did not need to be the exact same as the other side as I was also buying the right hand side anyway. Along with the right hand side decal and some other parts, all shipped together by EMS and delivered in 7 days. Everything in the package was packed neatly and securely and these were kept flat as you don't want bent emblems. They look super slick and crisp edges makes the world of difference. This genuine Honda Monkey emblem is a gorgeous black outer edge with accents of red to go with the bike's colour scheme, the inner is crisp white. It is a flat but slightly gel looking decal/emblem and all the colours are super clean too perfect. I have had some in the past for other bikes that look slightly grey on the black part but not these, perfect match for the bike colour scheme. Now this is on, the bike looks like a proper machine. There are much cheaper options but the design, material used and paint finish will not be as good. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. Suitably comfortable in regards to it's shape and foam used.
